The Work Stuff

Jim has a relatively long history with the City of Lakeland. Jim’s employment with the city started in the Planning Department on Valentine’s Day in 2005 and led to the City Manager’s office through October of 2018. Jim has been involved in all aspects of city operations and has a solid understanding and knowledge of past policy decisions and what is needed going forward.  

The Important Stuff   

Jim and his family moved to Lakeland in 2014, and moved their three boys from private school to Lakeland schools in 2015. The kids have thrived at Lakeland Elementary, LMPS, and Arlington High School. Jim and his wife Christen celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in 2020.

And yes, I also play drums in a band.
